
Shortcrust‑yeast dough
Description
Homemade baked goods for tea. Note that the dough is prepared using a cold method. No proofing is required before baking. By observing the nuances, you will treat yourself to very tasty baked goods.

Prepare the necessary ingredients.

Dissolve the yeast in warm water.

2 cups of flour, pour into a bowl, grate cold butter on a grater. Rub into crumbs.

Add the egg, sugar, and salt to the butter‑flour crumb. Mix.

Combine cold milk and the yeast solution. Stir.

Pour the milk with yeast into the flour mixture. Stir. Knead a soft dough. If it sticks to your hands, gradually add another 0.5 cup of flour.

Roll the dough into a ball.

Wrap in plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator for 1 hour. After the time has passed, remove the dough, divide it into desired pieces and bake immediately in a hot oven. Proofing before baking is not required.
