Description
Perfect for the table and for drinks. I'll tell you, it can be served warm or chilled.

Prepare all the ingredients.

Cut the ready fish fillet into portion-sized pieces. Season with salt and pepper and drizzle with lemon juice. Let stand for 10–15 minutes.

Heat the oil in a skillet. Add the onion sliced into thin strips and sauté until tender.

Then add salt, ground pepper to taste, lemon and orange zest, chopped garlic, and thyme. Continue cooking for another couple of minutes.

Pour in the wine and vinegar. Add the bay leaf and sugar to taste. Bring the marinade to a boil.

Now place the fish pieces on top. Cover the pan with a lid and continue cooking over low heat for about 7–10 minutes.

At the end, gently mix everything together, turn off the heat, and leave the fish to infuse under the lid for at least 1 hour. It can be kept for up to 6 hours.

Pescado is ready. The dish can be served either warm or chilled.
