
Peppers with Rice for Winter
Description
To prepare pepper with rice for winter at home, you will need a large pot, sterilized jars, and a meat grinder. For the salad, you can use any rice, but round rice works best. The preserve is ready for winter storage.

Prepare the vegetables. Run the carrots and tomatoes through a meat grinder. Dice the onion and slice the pepper into small pieces. Rinse the rice several times with cold water.

Now we're making the marinade. Take a saucepan, pour vegetable oil into it, and add sugar and salt.

Add the vegetables to the pot: tomato sauce, carrot, onion, and pepper.

Then add the rice, mix everything together, bring the mixture to a boil, and cook over low heat for about an hour. Stir constantly—the main thing is to make sure nothing burns.

When everything is ready, you can portion the salad into jars. Seal the jars, turn them upside down, and wait until they cool. Then you can try what you’ve made right away and store the salad in a cool place.
