Description

Pemmican is a food concentrate made from dried meat and dried berries or dried fruit. Both American Indians and Siberian hunters took it on long journeys. I think every people has its own recipe for preparing such a product. It can be made from any meat: pork, beef, game, or poultry. Pemmican can be added when making soups or porridges, and if you cannot prepare hot food, you can snack on pemmican as is.
