Dumplings in a multicooker
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Multicookers have firmly entered our daily lives. Convenient, require no constant monitoring, and don't heat up the kitchen air—especially important during warm seasons. I'm sharing a classic recipe for cooking dumplings in a multicooker. Serve hot.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

Start by kneading the dough using the listed ingredients. This can be done by hand or with a bread machine or food processor. Let the dough rest under a damp cloth or an inverted bowl while you prepare the filling.
- 3
Step 3

For the filling, pass the meat (cleaned of membranes and cut into convenient pieces) through a meat grinder together with the onion. Season with salt and pepper to taste and knead the mixture well.
- 4
Step 4

Work with the dough in batches to prevent it from drying out. Cut off a piece of dough and roll it into a log. Cut into rounds and press them flat in flour.
- 5
Step 5

Roll out the socniki.
- 6
Step 6

Place a teaspoon of filling in the center of each wrapper and shape into a dumpling. Repeat until all ingredients are used up. Place the finished dumplings on floured boards and cover with a towel.
- 7
Step 7

Pour water into the multicooker bowl. Do not exceed the maximum allowable volume to prevent boiling over. Select the "Boiling" or "Grains" program. Bring the water to a boil and add salt to taste. For extra flavor, you may add a bay leaf. Add the dumplings and cook until done—5–7 minutes.
- 8
Step 8

Remove the cooked dumplings with a slotted spoon and let the water drain off.
- 9
Step 9

Serve the dumplings hot, with butter, sour cream, homemade adjika, or with whatever you like—there are plenty of options!
- 10
Step 10

Can be served.
