Dumplings with cottage cheese and green onions
Description
The recipe won't take much time. In addition to classic meat dumplings, I love dumplings with a non-sweet cheese filling. I prepare the dough in the classic way, using water, just like for any other dumplings. For the filling, I mix green onions, cottage cheese, eggs, and butter, resulting in a very juicy filling! I serve these dumplings with melted butter or sour cream. Let's start cooking. Serve hot.

Step 1
Sift the flour into a bowl. Add the eggs, water, salt, and knead into a stiff dough. Cover the dough with a towel and let it rest for about 30–40 minutes so that the dough becomes elastic.

Step 2
Meanwhile, prepare the filling. Chop the green onions and mix with the finely chopped boiled eggs. Pass the cottage cheese through a sieve and mix with the raw egg. Thoroughly combine all ingredients. Add melted butter and salt, then mix well again.

Step 3
Cut the dough into pieces, roll each piece into a thin round. Place the filling in the center and pinch the edges together, forming a dumpling.

Step 5
