Mushroom dumplings in pots
Description
I've said it more than once—everything turns out delicious when cooked in a pot, so even ordinary store-bought dumplings can become a real culinary masterpiece here. In this recipe, I'll tell you how.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

First, we'll prepare the broth for the dumplings. Pour 1.5 liters of water into a pot and place it on the stove. Peel the carrot, cut it into 4 pieces, and add it to the water.
- 2
Step 2

Peel one onion and cut it into 4 pieces, add to boiling water, add whole allspice berries, and season with salt. Let the broth simmer over low heat for about half an hour.
- 3
Step 3

Peel the second onion and slice it into half-rings, place in a frying pan and fry until golden brown.
- 4
Step 4

We thoroughly wash the mushrooms and slice them.
- 5
Step 5

Transfer them to the skillet with the onion and fry everything for 5 minutes over medium heat.
- 6
Step 6

Place the sour cream in a separate bowl, add chopped dill, spices, and salt, then mix well.
- 7
Step 7

Slice the third onion into half-rings and place it at the bottom of the pots; I have two of them.
- 8
Step 8

Well, we put half of the dumplings on the onion.
- 9
Step 9

Place the mushrooms sautéed with onions on the dumplings.
- 10
Step 10

Brush everything with sour cream, then repeat all the layers. Pour broth over the top, filling about two-thirds of the pot. Cover the pot with a lid and place it in a preheated oven at 180°C for one hour. After 30 minutes of baking, remove the lid so the dumplings can brown. Serve the finished dish in the pots, garnished with fresh herbs.
