Dumplings with mushrooms and rice
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. These dumplings go well with butter, with butter and vinegar, sour cream, and grated sharp cheese. Preparation: Sift flour into a large bowl, forming a mound. Make a well in the center and add water, egg, and salt. Knead into a firm dough. Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rest for 20–30 minutes. Cut the dough into pieces and roll each piece into a thin round. Prepare the filling. Soak the mushrooms, then boil them. Finely chop and sauté in a frying pan. Separately, sauté chopped onion and mix with the mushrooms. Add lightly fried rice and mix thoroughly. Place the filling onto the rolled rounds, then pinch the edges to seal the dumplings. Boil the dumplings in salted boiling water. Serve the dumplings with butter, with butter and vinegar, or with sour cream and grated sharp cheese. The dish is now ready to be served.
