Handmade dumplings
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Dumplings are a very delicious meal! Some prefer to buy store-bought semi-finished products, while others like to make them from scratch. I suggest making hand-made dumplings. Quick dumpling folding is, of course, a matter of a little practice, but all the effort fades into the background when you want to treat your family to a tasty homemade dish. #betterathome The finished dish can now be served.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

In a deep bowl, combine the egg, water, and vegetable oil. Add 0.5 tsp of salt and mix well.
- 3
Step 3

Add the flour in parts.
- 4
Step 4

Stir the dough with a spoon until it becomes difficult to mix.
- 5
Step 5

Then start kneading by hand, gradually adding the remaining flour as needed. You may use a little more or less flour. The finished dough should not stick to your hands; it should be elastic and pliable. Cover the dough with a clean towel or an upside-down deep plate and let it rest for 30 minutes.
- 6
Step 6

Meanwhile, prepare the filling. Grind the meat using a meat grinder, then add finely chopped onion, chopped herbs, garlic pressed through a garlic press, salt to taste, your favorite spices, and 50 ml of cold water for juiciness. Mix thoroughly.

Step 7

Now take the dough and cut off a piece. Cover the rest again to prevent it from drying out and set it aside to wait its turn. Roll the piece of dough into a rope and roll it out to a thickness of about 2 cm. The thinner the rope, the thinner the dumplings will be. Cut it into equal-sized pieces.
- 8
Step 8

Coat each piece on both sides with flour, pressing it with your hands.
- 9
Step 9

Then roll out with a rolling pin into a circle shape or simply shape into a flat disc with your hands. Place the filling in the center.
- 10
Step 10

Fold in half and secure the edges first in the middle.
- 11
Step 11

Then join the dough along the edges and pinch well.
- 12
Step 12

It remains to join the edges.
- 13
Step 13

Place the finished dumplings on a board sprinkled with flour.
- 14
Step 14

Handmade dumplings are ready. You can freeze them, or cook part of them right away.
- 15
Step 15

Serve at the table.
