Fried dumplings, cooked in a pan
Description
In Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, and other Slavic countries, the most popular way of preparing dumplings is boiling them in water. In China, Japan, and other Eastern countries, this dish is equally popular. There, they are made with various fillings—such as vegetable, fish, seafood, or meat—but instead of boiling, they are pan-fried. The dish is served hot, optionally with sauce and fresh herbs.

3. Roll out each dumpling wrapper slightly, place a teaspoon of filling in the center, and fold the dumpling (everyone shapes them as they prefer). Sprinkle a plate with flour and place the dumplings on it so they don't stick together.
