Pies made from puff pastry
Description
To ensure the dumplings are truly juicy, their edges must be well sealed during assembly. This will prevent the filling from leaking out during cooking. Otherwise, the recipe is simple and easy to follow—perfect even for a beginner cook.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the necessary ingredients. Defrost the puff pastry in advance.
- 2
Step 2

Transfer the minced meat to a bowl. In a blender, grind the onion into a paste and add it to the minced meat. Add salt and pepper to taste.
- 3
Step 3

Thoroughly mix the minced meat, slap it against the bottom of the bowl a couple of times. Set aside.
- 4
Step 4

Take puff pastry. If it's in a roll, cut it in half. Take one piece of the pastry. Roll it out thinly. Use a glass to cut out circles. Roll the pastry scraps into a ball and repeat the process.
- 5
Step 5

Poke the circles several times with a fork.
- 6
Step 6

Place the filling. One heaping teaspoon per portion.
- 7
Step 7

Shape the dumplings in the usual way. Carefully seal the edges so that the juice does not leak out during baking.
- 8
Step 8

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the prepared dumplings on the sheet, spaced slightly apart. Prick the dumplings once again with a fork. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
- 9
Step 9

After the time is up, remove the baking sheet with the dumplings. Let them cool slightly so you can remove them from the sheet without damaging them.
