Description
Perfect for the table and with drinks. Homemade liver pâté is tasty, tender, and very filling. But you often don’t have time to make it, yet you still want something delicious (especially in winter). So someone had a great idea: make liver pâté for winter in jars. Make one batch of this tasty appetizer—and all winter you’ll be busy opening jars. The recipe for jarred liver pâté for winter is very simple, and what a delight—a slice of fresh bread spread with pâté on a winter morning with tea!… Serve with herbs and sauce.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Wash the liver thoroughly, remove the membranes and ducts, and cut into small pieces. Add a little vegetable oil to the multicooker bowl and sauté the liver until cooked through, about 20 minutes.
- 2
Step 2

Transfer the cooked liver to another bowl, then sauté the onion and carrot. You can cut them into large pieces: divide the onion into 4–5 parts and slice the carrot into thick rounds.
- 3
Step 3

While the vegetables are sautéing, grind the liver with a blender or a meat grinder. You can also grind it with an immersion blender.
- 4
Step 4

Now it's time to put the sautéed vegetables in the blender.
- 5
Step 5

In one bowl, using a blender, mix and puree the liver and vegetables; add salt and pepper to taste, as well as butter (already slightly softened).
- 6
Step 6

Mix all ingredients until smooth and uniform.
- 7
Step 7

Spoon the finished pâté into sterilized jars and cover with lids. Do not fill to the very top—only to the neck (or less).
- 8
Step 8

Line the bottom of the multicooker with a kitchen towel or a silicone mat, add one multicooker cup of water, and close the lid. Select the "Quick Cook" mode and set the time to 20 minutes. You can use a regular pot instead of a multicooker: line the bottom with a kitchen towel, place the jars inside, add water, and sterilize for 2 hours.

Step 9

When you hear the signal, take out the jars, seal them with the lids, wrap them in a blanket until they cool, then store them in a cool place.
