Instructions

Step 1

Prepare all ingredients according to the list.

Step 2

Rinse the pork liver in water, trim off the membranes and veins, and cut into medium pieces. Transfer to a saucepan or sauté pan.
- 3
Step 3

Pour in water and boil for 20 minutes until done.
- 4
Step 4

Remove the liver from the broth and let it cool slightly. If necessary, cut it into smaller cubes.

Peel the onion and carrot, rinsing them in water immediately after peeling. Slice the onion into half-moons; the carrot can be cut any way you like. Add the vegetables to a preheated skillet with oil.
- 6
Step 6

Sauté until tender.
- 7
Step 7

Add the liver and stir.
- 8
Step 8

Pour in the milk, add salt, ground pepper, and spices to taste. I added nutmeg.
- 9
Step 9

Simmer for about 2-3 minutes; no longer is needed, as liver becomes tough in taste when cooked for too long.

Step 10

Transfer the contents of the skillet to a tall container and puree with an immersion blender. Be sure to taste at this stage; you can add more salt and stir. You can add a pat of butter.
