Beef Liver Pâté in a Multicooker
Description
A tasty appetizer for any gathering. Like many children, I didn’t particularly take to liver as a kid. Mom had to get creative and figure out how to feed me this healthy food. She’d make liver pâté—very tasty, tender, and aromatic. In the morning we’d spread it on bread—and have it with tea. It’s unbeatable. Of course, I wrote down the recipe and now make this tasty, healthy pâté myself, but with a few tweaks I now make it in a multicooker. I’m sharing with you a simple recipe for liver pâté from beef liver in a multicooker. Believe me, once you make this pâté, you’ll be able to feed your little ones healthy liver in no time.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Wash the beef liver thoroughly with water, remove the membrane and bile ducts, and cut into pieces. You can soak the liver in milk so it becomes more tender and loses its distinctive smell.
- 2
Step 2

Pour vegetable oil into the multicooker bowl and turn on Sauté mode.
- 3
Step 3

When the butter has warmed slightly, add the liver pieces. Cover with the lid and let them fry for about 10 minutes.
- 4
Step 4

Next, turn the liver over, add cloves, a bay leaf, and ground black pepper.
- 5
Step 5

When the liver is fully browned, you can salt it. Add large pieces of yellow onion.
- 6
Step 6

Then — a layer of peeled carrots sliced into rounds.
- 7
Step 7

Next, close the multicooker lid, turn on the "Stewing" mode, and stew the contents for 15–20 minutes. After that time, turn off the multicooker, but leave the liver with the vegetables for another 15–20 minutes with the lid closed.

Step 8

Next, take out the liver once it has cooled slightly, remove the clove and bay leaf, and run it through a meat grinder twice (though you can also process it well in a blender). On the third pass, I run it through with pieces of butter.
