Description

Everyone loves cutlets, well, or almost everyone. But not many people eat liver cutlets. Is it the same in your family? I recommend trying this simple recipe—it might just be the one that satisfies all your loved ones. Cutlets made according to this recipe turn out tasty, juicy, and fluffy. To make the cutlets even more delicious, you can add spices to the minced meat that your family enjoys. I hope this recipe includes detailed instructions and illustrations.

Instructions

  1. 1

    Step 1

    Step 1

First, remove the membrane from the liver—it comes off very easily. Then cut out all the ducts.

  2. 2

    Step 2

    Step 2

Wash the liver and cut it into small pieces.

  3. 3

    Step 3

    Step 3

Peel the onion, chop it into small cubes, and sauté in 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil until lightly golden.

  4. 4

    Step 4

    Step 4

Place the pieces of liver and fried onion into the blender bowl. Blend until smooth. If you don't have a blender, you can also pass the liver through a meat grinder.

  5. 5

    Step 5

    Step 5

Add salt, pepper, minced garlic, baking soda, and semolina to the resulting mixture.

  6. 6

    Step 6

    Step 6

Mix everything until smooth and refrigerate for about 30 minutes. During this time, the semolina will swell and the liver patty mixture will thicken.

  7. 7

    Step 7

    Step 7

Place breadcrumbs into a shallow bowl, then use a spoon to put a portion of the liver mixture into the breadcrumbs. Roll the future cutlet in the breadcrumbs on all sides.

  8. 8

    Step 8

    Step 8

And place them on a well-heated pan with oil. Fry the cutlets over medium heat.

  9. 9

    Step 9

    Step 9

When the bottom side is browned to a golden-brown color, flip the patty and fry the other side. If you fried the patties over high heat and found them undercooked inside, place them in a pot, add a little water, and simmer covered for about 10 minutes. Alternatively, finish cooking them in the oven.
