Instructions

Step 1

Lay out all the ingredients on the table before you start cooking. The butter should be soft, so it’s best to take it out of the refrigerator about 1 hour in advance.
- 2
Step 2

In a large bowl, place soft butter, add 100 grams of sugar, and beat in an egg.
- 3
Step 3

Using a mixer, beat these ingredients until the mixture is smooth and uniform.
- 4
Step 4

Add milk.
- 5
Step 5

Sift the flour with the baking powder, add salt.
- 6
Step 6

Mix all the ingredients and knead a soft dough that may stick slightly to your fingers. Shape the dough into a ball, wrap it in a food-grade plastic bag, and place it on a refrigerator shelf for 30 minutes.

Step 7

Then roll out the chilled dough directly on baking parchment into a sheet about 0.5 cm thick. Use a knife to cut the sheet of dough into diamonds and sprinkle each diamond generously with a mixture of cinnamon and sugar (20 grams). Bake the cookies in an oven already preheated to 180 degrees for 15–20 minutes.

Step 8

Let the finished cookies cool slightly, then serve.
