Prepare the necessary ingredients. Sift the flour and starch into a bowl.

Beat soft butter with powdered sugar and vanilla until creamy. Add flour and starch, then knead until you get a soft dough.

Divide into 2-3 parts, roll into sausages, press down and smooth the sides to form a square-shaped bar. Wrap them in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Cut the strips into 0.5 cm thick pieces. Place them on a silicone mat or parchment paper, spaced slightly apart. Bake the cookies in a preheated oven at 180°C for 7–8 minutes. Attention! The cookies are small and bake quickly. Keep an eye on your oven. The cookies should remain pale and not brown. While still warm, dust the cookies with powdered sugar.
