Description

Perfect for tea and coffee. This recipe for "Pine Cones" cookies is quite simple, but you can add other nuts to taste, honey, or your favorite syrup if desired. This dessert will delight both children and adults. The baked goods are ready. Serve at the table.

Instructions

    Step 1

    Step 1

    1. First, prepare a simple dough. Combine sugar with the egg and beat until smooth. Melt the butter and, while continuously whisking, gradually pour it in a thin stream into the egg mixture. Add a little milk and gradually sift in the flour. The dough should turn out soft and elastic, not sticky to the hands, and should hold its shape well. Divide the dough into 3–4 parts, wrap each part in plastic wrap or place in a bag. Put the dough in the freezer for about 1 hour.

    2. Take one piece and grate it, placing the shredded dough onto a parchment paper for baking. The recipe for making "Shishki" cookies can be modified by using a meat grinder instead of a grater, for example. Place a portion of the dough into a preheated oven for about 7-9 minutes, until it turns golden brown.

    3. Bake the remaining portions of dough in the same way. Meanwhile, chop the walnuts. It's best to do this with a knife or a rolling pin to avoid turning the nuts into flour. You can use other nuts in the "Shishki" cookies at home if desired.

    4. Once all the dough is baked, mix it with the chopped nuts and pour in the condensed milk. Use boiled condensed milk so the cookies hold their shape well. Mix thoroughly until smooth.

    5. To shape the cookies, press the resulting mixture firmly into glasses that have been lightly moistened with water. Alternatively, you can shape them by hand. Then, invert the glasses and release the cookies onto a serving plate. Let them set slightly, then serve dusted with powdered sugar.
