Cookies with chocolate and vanilla
Description
The recipe won't take much time. A recipe for chocolate chip and vanilla cookies. This recipe yields about 18 cookies. Serve the cookies with a glass of cold milk. Serve chilled.

1. Preheat the oven to 160 degrees. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone mats. Melt the butter and cool to room temperature. In a small bowl, mix together the flour, salt, and baking soda, then set aside.

2. In a large bowl, use a mixer to beat the butter and sugar. Add the eggs and vanilla and beat again. Add half of the flour mixture and mix. Add the second half of the flour and mix well. Stir in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.

3. Using a spoon, place the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing each cookie 7-10 cm apart, using 2 heaping tablespoons of dough for each.

4. Bake for 15–18 minutes, until edges are deep golden and center is light brown. Let cool on the baking sheet for 2 minutes, then cool completely on a wire rack.
