Pecan Cookies
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Pecans can be replaced with walnuts, hazelnuts, or almonds; you can add cranberries, dried cherries, or raisins, but then it will be a different cookie. If the eggs are small, use two yolks. This dough has a little secret: it tastes even better if chilled for some time. You can bake the dough as a whole sheet and cut out various shapes from the still-warm cake. Serve with tea or coffee.
