
Cookies with Nutella and cream
Description
The recipe won't take much time. This recipe yields 2 dozen cookies or 1 dozen cream-filled sandwiches. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.

1. Prepare the cookies. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees. Line a baking sheet with a silicone mat or parchment paper. In a small bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking soda. Set aside. In a large bowl, use a mixer to beat butter and sugar together. Add the egg and beat well. Add the Nutella chocolate spread and mix thoroughly. Mix in the vanilla extract. Add the flour mixture and mix until a smooth, uniform consistency is achieved.

2. Shape the prepared dough into small balls, using about 1 tablespoon of dough for each. Place the balls on a baking sheet, spacing them 5 cm apart from each other.

3. Gently press each ball with a fork first in one direction, then in the other.

4. Lightly sprinkle the cookies with sugar. Bake for 10 minutes. Let cool completely before applying the cream.

5. To make the filling, beat butter and powdered sugar together with a mixer in a bowl. Mix in vanilla extract and a pinch of salt. Add marshmallow cream and Nutella, and beat until smooth. If the filling is too soft or runny, add more powdered sugar. Spread the filling onto half of the cookies, using 1–2 tablespoons per cookie, then top with the remaining cookies.
