1. In a bowl, mix flour, 0.5 cup sugar, 1 tsp lemon zest, and salt. Add butter and work into a crumbly dough.

2. Spread the dough onto parchment paper and bake in a preheated oven at 160 degrees for 30-35 minutes.

3. In a separate container, prepare the lemon curd. Mix lemon juice, sugar, eggs, egg yolks, and starch. Heat the mixture over medium heat until thickened.

4. As soon as the mixture comes to a boil, remove from heat and strain through a sieve.
