Cookies with strawberries and chocolate
Description
The recipe won’t take much time. These colorful, fragrant strawberry cookies are easy to pack for school, a trip, or a picnic. They vanish from the plate at children’s parties and get-togethers, and they’re lovely for breakfast or afternoon tea with a glass of warm milk! If you like, double the ingredients and make more so there’s enough for the whole family. The baking is done. Serve at the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the listed ingredients. Choose strawberries that are not too juicy.
- 2
Step 2

Crack the chicken egg into a deep bowl and whisk with the sugar and salt for 1–2 minutes. Add sour cream of any fat content and melted butter, then whisk everything again.
- 3
Step 3

Add the top-grade wheat flour and baking powder. Gently fold them into the liquid base. The dough should turn out sticky.
- 4
Step 4

Wash the strawberries and remove the stems. Dice them into small cubes and add them to the bowl with the batter. You can buy chocolate sprinkles (I used pink chocolate), or grate regular chocolate on a coarse grater. Add that to the bowl as well and mix.
- 5
Step 5

Divide the dough into portions. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and roll the portions of dough into balls in your hands. Place them on the parchment paper. If desired, you can lightly spray it with vegetable oil.
- 6
Step 6

Bake the cookies at 180 degrees for about 15 minutes until golden brown, then transfer to a plate.
- 7
Step 7

Cool completely or serve hot at the table with various beverages: tea, milk, coffee, etc. Enjoy your meal!
