
Yogurt and Dill Cookies
Description
Perfect for the table and with drinks. Yogurt and dill cookies are very easy to make. All you need to do is mix all the ingredients, knead the dough, cut out the cookies, and bake them — it's that simple! Crispy, aromatic dill cookies and smoked salmon are undoubtedly a winning combination. Serve with greens and sauce.

1. Preheat the oven to 200°C. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Add grated (or cubed) butter and place in the freezer for 10 minutes. Once the mixture has chilled, mix it by hand until crumbly.

2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the yogurt and egg. Add the yogurt mixture to the flour mixture and stir to combine. Mix in the chopped dill. Knead the dough lightly until it forms a uniform mass. Dust your work surface with flour and place the dough on it.

3. Roll out the dough to a thickness of 2.5 cm. Cut out cookies using a cutter 5–7 cm in diameter. You should end up with about 6 cookies. You can gather the scraps and make 2 more cookies.

4. Place the cookies on a baking sheet and refrigerate for 5 minutes. Brush the cookies with egg and bake in the oven for 15–17 minutes, until lightly golden brown.
