Description
The pastry is simple and quick to prepare. The crisp shortcrust dough simply melts in your mouth—the aroma of baked nuts will fill not only the kitchen, so get the kettle ready in advance, as your family will soon come running, hoping to taste this dessert. It takes just about half an hour to make, but you can prepare the shortcrust dough ahead of time and store it in a bag in the refrigerator. Serve cooled or slightly warm.

Prepare the listed ingredients. Melt the butter in the microwave and let it cool slightly.

Crack a chicken egg into a bowl, add a pinch of salt and 80 grams of granulated sugar. Beat thoroughly for about 1-2 minutes.

Pour in the clarified butter, add the baking powder and wheat flour. Knead a soft, pliable shortcrust dough.

Place it on a small plate or dish, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, pour the walnut kernels into the grinder bowl.

Grind them for about 2-3 minutes. Roughly—into crumbs, but with small pieces. Add the remaining granulated sugar and a pinch of salt. Mix well—your nut crumb is ready!

Take the shortcrust pastry out of the refrigerator, roll it out on a work surface into a not-too-thin layer. Sprinkle the nut crumbs evenly on top and gently roll over them with a rolling pin, without applying too much pressure, so that the crumbs embed into the dough. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
