
Pineapple Cookies
Description
The recipe won’t take long. Pineapple cookies made this way will broaden your idea of what “cookies” can be :) Because it’s really more like pineapple in puff pastry than classic cookies—though by looks you could still call them pineapple cookies. Either way, what’s in a name—the important thing is deliciousness, and these cookies deliver :) Baking’s done. Serve at the table.

Step 1

Dry the pineapple with a paper towel and dust with powdered sugar. Let stand like this for about 10 minutes.

Roll out the dough into a thin sheet (about 5 mm thick) and cut it into strips about 1 cm wide.

Wrap pineapple rings all the way around with strips of dough, as in the photo. In the centre of each ring, place a little dough and a berry.

Brush our cookies with beaten egg and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 30 minutes at 200 degrees. Done!
