Homemade baked goods for tea. In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Using an electric mixer, beat butter and sugar. Add egg and vanilla. Reduce speed and gradually add the flour mixture. Divide the dough in half. Wrap each half in plastic wrap and chill for 20 minutes or up to 3 months. Preheat the oven to 160°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Roll out half of the dough to a thickness of 3 mm on a floured surface. Using cookie cutters, cut out star shapes. Place cookies onto the baking sheet and chill in the refrigerator for 10 minutes. Repeat with the remaining dough. Bake until edges are golden, for 10 to 18 minutes (depending on size). Let cool. Decorate as desired and serve. The baked goods are ready. Serve at the table.
