Step 2

2. In a deep bowl, mash the butter, then add sour cream and baking soda. Start mixing everything together.

Step 3

3. Add a pinch of salt and flour. Knead until you get an elastic dough.

Step 4

4. Divide the finished dough into portions (usually 4-5 pieces). Wrap each portion in plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 30 minutes (then take them out one at a time).

Step 5

5. Roll out a round sheet and divide it into equal parts (6-8). Spread each part with jam and roll up each croissant.

Step 6

6. Roll the crescents from the wide end to the narrow end.

Step 7

7. Place the finished croissants on the prepared baking sheet, then put them in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 30 minutes.
- 8
Step 8

8. The finished croissants should cool down, then they can be dusted with powdered sugar and transferred to a serving dish.

Step 9

9. And so we've got delicious, crumbly cookies with jam. If you replace the margarine with butter, the finished crescent rolls will be softer and less crumbly.
