Description
There are different variations of this cookie: some make them with almonds, others add cinnamon or ground sesame. As a base, you can use regular butter or lard (yes, really, don't be surprised). Let the cookies cool before serving. They are especially delicious with a cup of coffee—serve them cooled or slightly warm.

1. Place soft butter in a bowl, add 0.5 cup of powdered sugar.

2. Using a fork, mix thoroughly.

3. In another bowl, mix 1.5 cups of flour, salt, and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon.

4. Add the flour mixture to the oily mixture and mix well, adding the remaining flour if necessary, but do not add it all at once—add it in portions.

5. Pinch off a small piece of dough and roll it into a ball, making 24 balls in total. In a bowl, mix the remaining powdered sugar with cinnamon. Roll each ball in this mixture.

6. Line a baking sheet with foil and grease with vegetable oil, then place all the balls on it.
