Shortbread cookies

   In a separate bowl, mix softened butter, powdered sugar, flour, and vanilla. Stir with a spoon until smooth. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

   Roll out the dough and flatten it on a surface lightly dusted with flour. Form a roll and cut into small pieces, or roll out into a sheet about 0.7 mm thick and cut out with cookie cutters.

   Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and grease it with oil. Place the pieces of dough on the baking sheet and bake for about 20 minutes.
