Description
The baking is simple and quick. To make "Olympic Rings" cookies, you'll need just a little time and plenty of imagination. I recommend involving children in this activity—perhaps even turning it into a competition to see who can shape the most cookies. Recipe: 1. Knead the dough using all the ingredients, except the icing, of course. 2. You can shape the rings by hand—there's no need to use cookie cutters. They might not be perfectly even, but they'll be made with heart. 3. Place the cookies onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (350°F) for about 20 minutes. 4. Divide the baked cookies into groups of five. 5. Prepare the icing. For the black ring, you can use melted chocolate. 6. Drizzle each cookie in a group with icing of its corresponding color. Alternatively, you may use only white icing and decorate with colored sprinkles—there are so many varieties, in every color imaginable! Experiment and surprise your loved ones! Serve with tea or coffee.
