Mayonnaise cookies without butter
Description
Dough made with mayonnaise turns out rich and tender. Avoid adding too much flour or kneading it for too long. It’s also worth noting that after mixing, the dough should be used right away—it does not store well. It tends to “go oily,” which hurts the flavour of the cookies. By the way, you can serve the cookies warm or cooled: warm they’ll be soft, and once cooled they’ll become crisp. Serve cooled or lightly warm.
