
Kefir Cookies
Description
Delicious baked goods for the whole family. Very often kefir cookies made at home turn out a bit dry. But this is not that case. With proper rolling of the dough and observing the baking time, it will turn out simply perfect. If desired, you can top it with glaze or sprinkle powdered sugar before serving, for example. An excellent example of a quick and tasty tea dessert for the whole family. Can be served with tea or coffee.

1. Sift the flour into a deep bowl.

2. Add a pinch of salt and a little sugar.

3. Add the leavening agent (you can also use baking soda in the kefir cookie recipe). Mix everything thoroughly.

4. Place the cold butter in a bowl.

5. And mash everything with a fork or by hand until uniform.

7. Pour the kefir in a thin stream.

8. Mix everything thoroughly until a homogeneous dough forms.

9. Place the ready dough in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes. In the meantime, turn on the oven and preheat it to 170 degrees.

10. Roll out the dough on a work surface dusted with flour. Make sure it isn’t too thin, otherwise the cookies will simply dry out. Using cookie cutters or a glass, cut out the cookies.

11. Now our kefir cookies made at home can be placed on a baking sheet greased with butter or lined with parchment paper, and baked in the oven for about 10‑12 minutes. By the way, these cookies go perfectly with chocolate spread or peanut butter.
