Jam Cookies
Description
Delicious baked treats for the whole family. For those who love quick recipes requiring minimal ingredients, time, and effort, I'd like to share this interesting and very simple recipe for "Minutka" jam-filled cookies. This recipe has plenty of advantages, which is why I bake these cookies quite often—not only because they can be made in just a few minutes, but also because they taste absolutely wonderful. You can use any jam you like; for example, I particularly enjoy cherry and apricot, so I usually prepare them with these flavors. Now that you know how to make "Minutka" jam cookies, don't waste any time—treat yourself and your loved ones to this delightful delight!
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

First, place the softened butter into a bowl and add sour cream to it.
- 2
Step 2

Using a mixer, beat the butter with sour cream until smooth.
- 3
Step 3

Now we start gradually adding flour, first adding 1 cup and mixing everything with a mixer, then adding the flour in small portions.
- 4
Step 4

When it becomes difficult to mix the dough with a mixer, transfer it onto a floured surface and continue kneading by hand, gradually adding flour. Add just enough flour so that the dough becomes soft, elastic, and no longer sticks to your hands. Wrap the finished dough in plastic wrap and place it in the freezer for 20–30 minutes.
- 5
Step 5

After the time has elapsed, place the dough again on a floured surface and roll it out into a sheet about 5-6 mm thick.
- 6
Step 6

Then cut the rolled dough into squares with sides of 5-6 cm.
- 7
Step 7

Now we place a small amount of jam, about 0.5 teaspoon, in the center of each square. It's best to use thick jam, otherwise it may spread over the baking sheet.
- 8
Step 8

Join the opposite edges of the square and carefully pinch them together.
- 9
Step 9

Grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil and place the cookies on it. Put the baking sheet in a preheated oven at 175-180 degrees and bake for 15-20 minutes.
- 10
Step 10

Our cookies are ready, and since we didn't add sugar to the dough, they turned out moderately sweet. Enjoy your meal, everyone!
