Cookies Lollipops on a Stick

Description

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. In a small bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt; set aside. In a large bowl, using an electric mixer, beat room-temperature butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla, and beat until combined. Reduce mixer speed, add the flour mixture, and mix until incorporated. If using two colors of colored sugar, place each color in a separate bowl. Roll the dough into small balls. Dip each ball into one of the sugar bowls, coating it completely. Insert a wooden stick into the center of each ball and place them on a baking sheet, spaced about 1.5 cm apart. Bake until golden, 20 to 25 minutes. Let cool completely.
