Cookies
Description
Homemade pastries for tea. These cookies were prepared in honor of the King of Italy, Vittorio Emanuele II. The original shape of these cookies is curved like an arc. But my piping tip was too large, and I was afraid they would turn out shapeless. It is best to use finely ground corn flour or sift it through a fine sieve to remove large particles. I do not recommend replacing butter with margarine, as the pastry will be dense and not as delicate. Serve cooled or slightly warm.
