Valentine's Day Cookies
Description
Homemade baked treats for tea. You can cut them into any shape using special cookie cutters. Use any jam of your choice. Let the cookies cool completely, then fill them with jam before serving. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

1. In a mixer, beat the butter, then add sugar, eggs, lemon zest, and vanilla extract. Mix together the flour, ground nuts, baking powder, and cinnamon. Add the dry ingredients to the mixer bowl in 3 batches. Form the dough into a disc, wrap it, and refrigerate for 1 hour. Roll out the chilled dough thinly between two sheets of parchment paper. Place it in the freezer for 5–10 minutes.

2. Using a cookie cutter, cut out heart shapes: whole ones and ones with a hole in the center.

3. Place the cookies on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 12 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack and let cool.

4. Heat the jam and spread it on the hearts that have no hole in the center.

5. Cover with molds that have holes and press down slightly.
