
Apple and Banana Cookies
Description
Homemade baked goods for tea. The cookie contains oat flakes; if you don’t like the large size, you can crush them or replace them with finer flakes. Be careful with the flour! Don’t overwork the dough.

Prepare the necessary ingredients.

Peel the apple, grate it on a coarse grater, transfer to a small pot, add 1 tbsp of water. Place over heat, bring to a boil.

Boil for 5 minutes until soft.

Add vegetable oil to the banana and blend it.

Add the apples to the resulting mixture and blend again until smooth.

In a bowl mix the dry ingredients: 2 cups flour, sugar, rolled oats, cinnamon and baking powder. Add the remaining 0.5 cup as needed during kneading.

Add the fruit puree to the dry ingredients.

Knead the dough. The dough has a slightly sticky consistency, do not add too much flour, otherwise the dough will become dense and the cookies will be hard. Dust the work surface.

Preheat the oven to 170 degrees. Roll out the dough into a sheet 0.5 cm thick and cut out cookies in any shape.

Transfer the pieces onto a baking sheet (line it with parchment paper or pre‑grease it with butter). Place it to bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.

After the time has elapsed, remove the cookies, transfer them, and let them cool.
