
Cottage cheese cookies
Description
Homemade cookies for tea. Store-bought cottage cheese works perfectly for these cookies. The cookies are very easy to prepare and especially loved by children. You can bake a large batch and store them—they stay fresh for a long time. This treat should always be served chilled. Serve cooled down or slightly warm.

Place the cottage cheese in a bowl and mash it with a fork or using a blender. Add the chicken eggs one at a time and mix thoroughly.

Melt the butter (margarine) and let it cool slightly, then pour it into the cottage cheese and mix.

Sift the flour and gradually add it to the cottage cheese, add the baking soda, and knead a firm dough.

Roll out the dough into a layer about 0.5 centimeters thick, then cut out circles using a glass or a special cutter.

Sprinkle each circle with sugar and fold in half with the sugar inside, then sprinkle with sugar again and fold in half once more.

Press the edges of the parcels with a fork, place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 30 minutes. Bake until a golden crust forms.
