
Cheese Cookies
Description
Homemade baked treats for tea. This crumbly, crispy cheese cookie is perfect with tea or various pâtés and sauces. It has a distinct cheesy, milky flavor. 1. First of all, grate the cheese on a coarse grater, cut the butter into small pieces and mix it with the cheese. Add the egg and gradually incorporate the sifted flour.

2. Knead the dough thoroughly, then wrap it in plastic wrap and place it in the freezer for 10-15 minutes.

3. Take out the dough, divide it into 3-4 pieces, roll each piece out thinly (3-5 millimeters), brush with cold water, and sprinkle with coarse salt. Then, cut into pieces of arbitrary shape using a decorative knife. Place the cookies onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

4. Place in a preheated oven at 170-180 degrees for 20-25 minutes, until a golden crust forms. Then transfer the cookies onto a plate.
