Sour cream cookies
Description
Due to the chocolate chips, depending on their size and shape, it might be difficult to roll out the dough. In this case, you can shape the cookies by hand, rolling small balls and then flattening them into round cookies. Once the baked goods have completely cooled, you can dust them with powdered sugar and cocoa. Chilling the dough in the refrigerator is necessary for elasticity, but if short on time, 30 minutes will suffice. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.

Step 1

Butter needs to be taken out of the refrigerator in advance. It should soften. Mix the butter with granulated sugar, then add two eggs. Next, blend the mixture using a blender until the sugar dissolves.

Step 2

Now add vanilla sugar to the dough to taste, along with flour. Add the flour gradually, adjusting the dough's thickness. The dough should become elastic. At the final kneading stage, add chocolate chips to the dough. Refrigerate the dough for 2 hours.

Step 3

Roll out the dough fairly thick, about one centimeter, and cut out the desired shapes using cookie cutters or a glass. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly grease it with butter. Place the cookies onto the parchment.

Step 4

Bake the cookies at 180 degrees. The baking time is about 20 minutes. Do not overbake the cookies in the oven so they don't become dry and hard.
