    Add a pinch of salt, vanilla, starch and leavening agent, mix again. Then gradually start sprinkling in the flour. Knead into a uniform dough.

    From the brown part, roll 6 round shells. Use a toothpick to create a lattice pattern on them. From the white part, roll 6 ovals the size of a walnut and 24 balls the size of a hazelnut.

    Place the turtle legs and heads on parchment, and then place the shell on top of them. The cookie parts do not need to be attached in any special way. Bake the cookies for 15–18 minutes at 175–180 °C. Then remove from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet.
