Cookies
Description
Baked goods are easy and fast to put together. You can bake golden-brown, crisp, incredibly flavorful cookies right in your own kitchen with ordinary instant rolled oats. Stir melted butter into the dough—it will give your bake a rich buttery flavor and a crumbly texture. Serve chilled or lightly warm.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the ingredients listed. You can use spread instead of butter.
- 2
Step 2

Crack chicken eggs into a deep bowl; add sugar and salt to the same bowl and whisk.
- 3
Step 3

Melt the butter in the microwave or in a double boiler, but do not bring it to a boil. Pour into the egg mixture and mix thoroughly.
- 4
Step 4

Add quick-cooking rolled oats, wheat flour, and baking powder. Add the flour in portions so you do not use too much.
- 5
Step 5

Knead the dough thoroughly and leave it for 15 minutes, covered with a towel. The dough should stick to your hands, not be dense.
- 6
Step 6

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil. Wet your hands with water, tear off a piece of dough, roll it into a ball, and place it on the sheet. Repeat with the remaining balls, wetting your hands as needed and spacing them apart on the sheet.
- 7
Step 7

Bake the cookies at 160 degrees for about 25–30 minutes until golden brown on the top oven rack.
- 8
Step 8

Let them cool, then arrange on a serving platter or in bowls.
- 9
Step 9

Serve the golden-brown “Royal” cookies with warm milk, tea, or coffee.
