Sugar-free cookies
Description
The recipe won't take much time. The sugar-free cookie recipe is great because you can use absolutely any dried fruits you have on hand. If you'd like to add a bit more sweetness, you can stir in a couple of tablespoons of syrup to taste. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.
Instructions

Step 1

1. Sift the wheat flour and corn flour into a deep bowl. Chop the nuts coarsely, not into powder, so that pieces can still be felt. If desired, you can dry them in a pan beforehand.

Step 2

2. Add a pinch of salt and baking powder. Soak the raisins in hot water for a few minutes, then drain and dry. Add half of them to the dough (in the recipe for sugar-free cookies, you can also use dried apricots, figs, or prunes).

Step 3

3. Remove the pits from the dates and place them in a blender together with the remaining raisins. Blend into a paste. Add vegetable oil to achieve the desired consistency.

Step 4

4. Mix the mixture thoroughly until smooth. The dough should be soft and slightly sticky. Don't be alarmed by this. You can add a little honey or syrup.

Step 5

5. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Lightly grease your hands with vegetable oil and form small balls by pinching off pieces of dough. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes.

Step 6

6. To make sugar-free homemade cookies more original, you can dry them under the grill for a few more minutes, while keeping the inside soft.
