Flourless cookies
Description
Homemade baked treats for tea. Essentially, these turn out to be shortbread cookies. I love making them because they're simple and budget-friendly. Besides, flour isn't always available at home. However, you can also use almond flour instead of almonds to make flourless cookies. Good luck! Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Blanch the almonds and grind them several times in a blender. This will be almond flour. Beat the egg with the zest of one orange (one orange will be enough).
- 2
Step 2

Now add part of the almonds and the essence, mix well.
- 3
Step 3

Add the remaining flour and mix thoroughly. The dough will be sticky and porridge-like.
- 4
Step 4

Form walnut-sized balls.
- 5
Step 5

I usually roll some of the balls in sugar.
- 6
Step 6

Others in powdered sugar.
- 7
Step 7

Line the baking sheet with parchment paper, then place the flourless cookies in the oven for 15-18 minutes at 170°C.
- 8
Step 8

Voilà! Here's flourless cookie, ready to enjoy. Serve with tea, coffee, or anything you like.
