Cookies
Description
The baking is simple and quick. I like making this cookie because there's no need to turn on the oven and bake it. Although, if desired, you can bake similar dough in the oven: the texture will be slightly different, more crumbly. Fried cookies, on the other hand, resemble straws in some way. Let it cool slightly or serve warm.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

First, sift 225 grams of flour, add baking powder and salt, and mix well.
- 2
Step 2

Melt the butter (you can do this in a saucepan or in the microwave). Let the melted butter cool down.
- 3
Step 3

Separate one egg into white and yolk (you'll need the white a bit later, and you can use the yolk as you wish for preparing another dish). Beat two whole eggs with water, add vanilla extract and cooled melted butter, and mix thoroughly.
- 4
Step 4

Gradually add the flour mixture to the eggs, stirring with a spatula or whisk.
- 5
Step 5

The dough turns out sticky.
- 6
Step 6

Add the remaining 75 grams of flour and knead the dough by hand.
- 7
Step 7

Roll out the prepared dough on a floured surface into a thin layer.
- 8
Step 8

Cut into strips.
- 9
Step 9

The strips for the bows measure 3 by 6 cm. Take the reserved egg white and brush the center, then fold the edges inward to form a bow.
- 10
Step 10

Heat the skillet and add oil so that the ribbons can float in it. Place the cookies in the oil and fry for a few minutes until golden brown, until the ribbons slightly increase in size.
- 11
Step 11

Carefully place the cookies on paper towels to drain excess oil. Then you can dust the baked goods with powdered sugar.

Here are such cute "Bows" cookies!
