Description

Homemade baked treats for tea. The classic version involves joining the cookie halves with jam, but various thick creams, melted chocolate, preserves, and other spreads work perfectly for this purpose. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.

    Prepare all the ingredients needed to make the cookies. Keep in mind that the butter should be soft and pliable, so take it out of the refrigerator in advance.

    In a bowl, combine the dry ingredients: flour (180 grams), sugar, vanilla sugar, and baking powder.

    Cut the butter into cubes and add to the dry mixture. Use your hands to combine the ingredients until a crumbly texture forms.
