Valentine cookies
Description
Delicious baked treats for the whole family. I recommend serving Valentine cookies with tea. They truly melt in your mouth! The dough should ideally be kept in the refrigerator for a day or two—trust me, it's worth it. Brown sugar gives them a special flavor. In addition to chocolate, you can add dried fruits (especially delicious with dried cherries), nuts, or candied fruits to the dough. Cookies can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.

Mix all the ingredients together. Chop the chocolate into pieces and knead it into the dough. Shape the dough into a log and wrap it in plastic wrap or parchment paper.
