Cranberry Heart Cookies

Description
Preheat the oven to 160 degrees. In a large bowl, mix butter, powdered sugar, vanilla, flour, and salt with a wooden spoon. Add dried cranberries. Spread the dough evenly into a square baking pan. Bake until lightly golden, about 20 minutes. Let cool in the pan for about 20 minutes. Remove the dough from the pan and place it on a work surface. Using a cookie cutter, cut out heart shapes. Cookies can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
