Liver stewed in milk
Description
The recipe won't take much time. If you need to know, serve hot.
Instructions

Step 1

For cooking, take fresh beef liver. Wash and dry it. Remove all unnecessary films and veins. Cut into equal strips 3 centimeters long and 1 centimeter wide. Pound each piece of liver on both sides with a mallet.

Step 2

Heat the skillet, pour sunflower oil onto it. Sift the flour into a separate bowl. Coat each pounded piece of liver in flour. Place the pieces onto the skillet and fry them on both sides.

Step 3

After the liver pieces have browned, pour in water to completely cover the offal. Peel the onion, slice it into rings or half-rings, and place it on top of the liver.
- 4
Step 4

Simmer the liver without stirring, covered, for about ten minutes. Then add milk to it. If desired, you can use cream or sour cream instead of milk.
- 5
Step 5

When the liver with milk begins to boil, be sure to stir it with a wooden spatula. Otherwise, it may burn. Add spices and salt to the skillet, mix well. Cover with a lid and simmer the liver over low heat for five minutes. At the end, press in some garlic.
